Hawkins Insulation Ltd has once again brought customers, colleagues, friends and supporters together for its annual charity golf day, raising an impressive £5,500 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Held on Friday 4 September 2026, the event took place at the ever-accommodating Kendleshire Golf Club, which has proudly hosted the Hawkins Insulation charity golf day for the past five years.
With 75 players taking to the course, the day was a fantastic opportunity to enjoy some friendly competition while raising money for a cause that means so much to many families and communities.
The competition was closely fought, with Team Nutt taking home the trophy as the overall winning team. The Yellow Ball competition was won by Team Woodman, while individual honours went to Sara Hayes, who was named Lady Player of the Day, and Ian Winterbottom, who claimed the Men’s Player of the Day award.
The event also featured three nearest-the-pin competitions, adding another element of friendly rivalry throughout the day.
A huge thank you goes to everyone who took part, supported the event, helped organise the day and, most importantly, contributed towards the £5,500 raised for Macmillan Cancer Support.
