Hawkins Insulation Ltd offers a reliable and responsible asbestos collection and disposal service for domestic and commercial clients across the South West of England. We will remove the affected materials and dispose of it ethically and carefully.

All hazardous wastes arising from the works are safely disposed in accordance with ‘The Environmental Protection Act’ 1990; ‘The Environmental Protection (Duty of Care) Regulations’ 1991 and ‘Special Waste Regulations’ 1996.

Dean Hawkins

Managing Director

Started as an apprentice at Thermal Insulation Engineer at 16 and stayed in this role until a move into the office as a Contracts Co-ordinator at 25. This role was a progression into a management level of Contracts Manager, followed by Company Director before taking over as Managing Director from Keith Hawkins (founder of Hawkins Insulation Ltd in 1973).

Dave Pini

Contracts Manager

Dave joined HIL in a Site Supervisor role. It was apparent that Dave had the skills for all aspects of the role and was marked early as a possible candidate to take on the role of Contracts Manager. Dave took up this role in December 2018 and has proven a great asset and valuable link between site/office.

Lindsay Passco

Projects Manager

Lindsay has over 30 years in the building trade and is a specialist in plastering. Lindsay joined the team to tie the links of site and office making us a smoother, efficient company. Lindsay also heads up all build projects and reinstatement works, which offers us a more appealing service to our clients.

Matt Harris

Surveyor

Matt has been with HIL for many years, starting as an operative before taking on a Site Supervisors role. Due to Matts attention to detail and being methodical in his work, Matt also took on the additional role as the company’s asbestos surveyor, making him a valuable asset to our clients having the full range of knowledge from survey & the removal process. Matt is also very knowledgeable with IT and keeps us and site linked together.

Mandy Dix

Account’s Manager/Company Secretary

Mandy has been with HIL for many years and heads up all our accounts invoicing and payroll. Mandy has a direct link to the Managing Director regarding all financial matters.

Michele Cook

Secretary

Michele works part time covering all aspects of the secretary role and assists Matt with the write up of surveys and quality assesses the reports before sending to our clients.
